The plan was to improve the internal layout of the upper ground floor flat. An earlier conversion of this Victorian terrace house added the hall and bathroom between the rooms resulting in rooms that were too small and the kitchen was a long way from the living room.

The rooms were restored to their original size and ceiling height while a new bathroom was installed in the existing extension. The apartment floors, ceilings and walls were all renewed to comply with the current Building Regulations and the space under the stair was opened up for a small utility space & storage.
