This large house in the North Oxford conservation area was completely renovated and its external appearance restored to the original grand Victorian house by removing a secondary entrance and porch - an 1980-s additions. The lower ground floor, serving as kitchen and dining room, was excavated to increase the ceiling height and connected with a passage to a wine cellar constructed under the drive.

The ground floor reception was enlarged by removing the dividing wall between the front and rear rooms and a study was gained by converting the now redundant lobby to the secondary entrance. At first floor, the smaller rooms were converted to en-suite bathrooms while at second floor a small room was converted into a second bathroom.
